Optical Technician, Roughing/Diamond Machining Section

The successful candidate will have experience working with edgers, milling machines, curve generators, etc.

Optical Technician, Grinding and Polishing Section
Code W00H110
Junior and Senior level openings for this position.  The successful candidate will have experience grinding and polishing flats and spheres to fractional wave tolerances.   The employee filling this position will work with optical glass, crystal optics, and metal optics. Some on-the-job training is available.

Optical Technician, Final Figuring and Testing
Code W00K410
Junior and Senior level openings for this position.  The successful candidate will be experienced in polishing, final figuring, and testing high-precision aspheric optics.   Interferometric testing with LUPI or Phase-Shift Interferometers will be required.
